Branding Presentation for a Community Chorus

 

This branding presentation was one of my more fun and interesting challenges as a designer.  Voices of Gotham is an a cappella chorus of mostly young men under 30 who are all passionate about singing the nearly lost American art of Barbershop harmony.  To the general public, the term Barbershop harmony brings up images of early Americana and old men with mustaches and boater hats.  Working in close collaboration with the non-profit arts group’s marketing team, we created a brand that reflected not only the passion and energy of the chorus’ members, but also paid homage to the rich and long history of American Barbershop harmony.
